QUICK TIP: MIgrate large mysql databases to another mysql server

Pretty easy

OldMySQLServer – the current mysql server where the databases are  and must be migrated from

NewMySQLServer – new mysql server , where the databases will be migrated to

1.NewMySQLServer: Create all databases (blank only) to the new server / same as OldMySQLServer /

2.NewMySQLServer: Grant all privileges on users / same as OldMySQLServer /

3.OldMySQLServer: stop mysql server daemon

4.OldMySQLServer-to-NewMySQLServer : copy databases files to the database dir on the NewMySQLServer

5.NewMySQLServer: start mysql server
