HOWTO: Create FreeBSD Jails (quick)

Asuming already buildedworld.

# mkdir /home/jails/smtp5
# cd /usr/src/
# make installworld DESTDIR=/home/jails/smtp5
# make distribution DESTDIR=/home/jails/smtp5

jail_list=”smtp4 smtp5″
jail_smtp5_rootdir=”/home/jails/smtp4″
jail_smtp5_hostname=”smtp5″
jail_smtp5_ip=”your_ip”
jail_smtp5_devfs_enable=”YES”
jail_smtp5_ruleset=”smtp5_ruleset”

# /etc/rc.d/jail start smtp5
Configuring jails:.
Starting jails: smtp5.
#mkdir /home/jails/smtp5/usr/ports;mount_nullfs /usr/ports /home/jails/smtp5/usr/ports

Now jail is fresh machine, fill resolv.conf and rc.conf
