HOWTO: Install and configure NTPD server in FreeBSD and sync with my server

1. Install openntpd and configure to sync with YOUR_IP time server

vodka# cd /usr/ports/net/openntpd
vodka# make install clean clean-depends

===> Installing for openntpd-4.6_1,2
===> Generating temporary packing list
===> Checking if net/openntpd already installed
===> Creating users and/or groups.
Creating group `_ntp’ with gid `123′.
Creating user `_ntp’ with uid `123′.

vodka# grep -v ^# /usr/local/etc/ntpd.conf

server YOUR_IP

vodka# grep -i ntp /etc/rc.conf

openntpd_enable=YES
